Digital Will

“Digital Will” was a 3 channel projection installation commissioned by Chin Chin to be exhibited at their Melbourne restaurant and in Higson Lane during the month of May, 2021.

"Digital Will" uses machine learning and AI to analyse a dataset of over 70 self-portrait photographic artworks that I have created over 5 years to create a constantly shifting array of new artworks in the same style as my art.

The intent is that the AI can continue to create new artworks long after I have died.

The title "Digital Will" is a play on words, referring to the seeming faculty of mind of the machine learning process (the will of the AI), as well as the inevitability that AI "will" become more prevalent in the future, and the last will and testament of the artist in digital video format.
