Scribble - BalletX

Scribble is a dance film for BalletX’s online streaming service , BalletX Beyond, with animated elements done by myself.

The director and choreographer was Loughlan Prior, with music composition by Gareth Wiecko, and Daniel Madoff as Director of Photography.

I used a combination of camera tracking, hand drawn rotoscoping, and 3D animation to create the animated elements of the film.

The film was created during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, with the dancers and filming in the USA, choreographer and director in New Zealand, and animator and composer in Australia.
